If your God is a Jew,
Your pizza Italian,
Your watch Swiss,
Your car Japanese,
Your coffee Colombian,
Your numbers Arabic,
Your letters Latin,
How dear you call your neighbor an alien?

Downtown is the heart of Vancouver's central business district, an area with a high concentration of jobs and office buildings.
Anchoring the downtown area is the Pacific Center indoor mall as well as the Vancouver Trade and Convention Center.
Several subway stations connect this area with the rest of Greater Vancouver and there are plans for two new rapid transit lines to connect downtown and the suburbs as well.
The majority of Vancouver's other on-street shopping can be found within the downtown area.
Robson street, along with Granville street provide another avenue for shoppers not interested in the indoor mall.
Other places of interest include the Vancouver Art Gallery and the main branch of the Vancouver Public Library which is designed like a Roman Coliseum.
Many regoinal offices for Canadian companies are downtown.Several new high-rises are being squeezed into the remaining undeveloped areas of downtown, these include both office and residential towers.
The area is also home to Vancouver's two professional sports stadiums, GM Place where the Vancouver Canuck's hockey team plays and BC Place home to the BC Lions football team.
The one rapid transit station that services both stadiums can frequently be packed on game days.
Downtown Vancouver has been kept very lively with nearly every street and corner containing shops, restaurants, pubs and services.
Almost all new developments have been mixed-use residential with most commonly stores and shops but also certain commercial business's as well.
During the day its rare to find any parts of downtown that are abandoned as there are many office workers and residents walking the streets.
