when the noise gets too much
when the chaos is makin' me nuts
I head for the hills I know and love
way back yonder is where I go
off the interstate on a back road
'round the bend and over a hill
cross the ol' stone bridge
and take it til the end
kick off my shoes
listen to some blues
no cell phone
no internet
no tv
no news
just me and my porch
and a real great view
