He is a little flower
plucked from this world of woe.
He will blossom in God's garden,
and by his love will grow.
Left from the evil of this world,
his life shall perfect be,
Dwelling in the mansions all through eternity.
Oft times our hearts are troubled,
and oft we wonder why
Our little one's from heaven
must leave our homes and die.
And yet we cannot think of them as dead --
but just away,
For they are with our blessed Lord
forever more to stay.
So when you heart is heavy
and sorrows bend you love,
in the secret of his presence.
you'll find the heavenly glow.
he will give new strength for every day
and all our sorrows share.
so weep not loved ones for him;
he's in our Savior's care.
